Upcoming Marvel Movies for 2025

Captain America: Brave New World (February 14, 2025)

The first movie on the slate is Captain America: Brave New World, set to release on February 14, 2025. Expectations are sky-high for this film, which is being compared to Captain America: Winter Soldier. The plot will center around politics, with Sam Wilson taking on the mantle of Captain America. Samuel Sterns from Incredible Hulk will return as a leader, and the movie will feature Red Hulk as a major highlight. If this movie delivers even half of what Winter Soldier did in terms of screenplay, story, politics, and action, it is bound to be a success.

Thunderbolts (May 2, 2025)

Next up is Thunderbolts, releasing on May 2, 2025. This Marvel Movies will feature a team of misfits—characters who struggle to make decisions together. The setup for this Marvel Movies has already begun, with Valentina recruiting John Walker into the Thunderbolts team at the end of Falcon and the Winter Soldier. In the post-credit scene of Black Widow, Yelena Belova is also recruited into the team. This Marvel Movies will feature characters like Taskmaster, Red Guardian, and Ghost. However, the main attraction will be Sentry, whose character alone will take the movie’s hype to the next level.

Fantastic Four (July 25, 2025)

On July 25, 2025, Fantastic Four will be released. This team needs no introduction. MCU will present its take on this team, which will be crucial for the future of MCU. This movie will also mark the beginning of MCU’s Phase 6, with the story set in an alternate universe during the 1960s, featuring a retro-future theme. Silver Surfer and Galactus will appear in this Marvel Movies, and RDJ’s Doctor Doom will make his first cameo in the post-credit scene.

In 2026, three movies will be released. The first movie, set to release on February 13, 2026, has not been named yet, but it is expected to be a Doctor Strange movie. After Multiverse of Madness, setting up Doctor Strange’s current scenario is crucial.

Blade (November 7, 2026)

On November 7, 2026, Blade will be released. Despite delays, Kevin Feige recently confirmed that this movie is in the works. It will be MCU’s second R-rated movie, featuring intense action and bloodshed. Mahershala Ali will play the lead role of Blade.

Avengers: Doomsday (2027)

In 2027, three movies will be released, including Avengers: Doomsday, which has already been revealed.

The Multiverse Awaits

All the superheroes you can imagine will appear. All three Spider-Men will also return, with the most important role being that of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man. two more movie dates have been revealed: one on July 23, 2026, and the other on November 5, 2026. The names of these movies have not been revealed yet, but just like they brought Ant-Man and Captain Marvel movies between Infinity War and Endgame to set up those characters, I think two movies will be released between Avengers: Secret Wars Part 1 and Part 2. Most likely, Avengers: Secret Wars Part 2 will be released in May 2028.
